About Vantria Federal Credit Union (Vantria FCU)
Over 55 Years of Service History
In 1950, Vantria Federal Credit Union was founded as Cameron Station Federal Credit Union to serve the military and Department of Defense employees working on Cameron Station Army Post in Alexandria, Virginia. It started with eight members and $40. It was renamed Genesis Federal Credit Union in 1993 and moved to Springfield, Virginia in 1995.
In 2006, with our field of membership expansion to all of Fairfax County, Genesis became Vantria Federal Credit Union.
Today, Vantria FCU provides competitive credit union services to members who live, work, worship, go to school, or volunteer in Fairfax County, Virginia, or the independent City of Fairfax, Virginia. Vantria FCU serves more than 11,000 members. The membership elects a volunteer board of directors that governs the credit union. A full-time, professional staff manages the credit union's daily operations.
Mission Statement
Vantria Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by the membership and operated for the benefit of its members and community. Our commitment is to help the membership establish and reach their financial goals.
